The objective of UPRT is to help flight crews to acquire the required knowledge, skills, and attitudes to prevent or recover from a developing or developed upset. Prevention training prepares flight crews to avoid incidents, whereas recovery training prepares flight crews to prevent an accident once an upset condition has occurred. The overall aim is to improve flight crew resilience. In particular, the stress response, startle, and surprise effects will be emphasized. Threat and Error Management (TEM) and Crew Resource Management (CRM) are integrated into our UPRT program. This is a combination of both Ground and Flight training.

After completing Emergency Maneuver Training, your confidence as a pilot and your flying skills will be greatly enhanced. Upon satisfactory course completion, a graduation certificate is issued which can be kept on file for pilot insurance renewals and/or required flight department records.
